A Home Built by Healthcare Workers, For Healthcare Workers

Founded in 1992 by hospital staff from the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Hospital Workers’ Housing Co-operative is a non-profit, member-run community of 132 homes in Toronto’s Mount Pleasant West neighbourhood. For more than three decades we’ve provided stable, affordable, and welcoming housing for frontline healthcare families โ€” just minutes from the city’s major hospitals.
